Mirrors/removeable doors?

What do you guys do about mirrors when you remove the doors? Mine are removeable, but then I can't see behind me. I've seen some mirrors attached to the windshield frame, I think. Anyone with solutions or ideas? Maybe a CJ Jeep mirror? Is there a good aftermarket attachment? Thanks.

Re: Mirrors/removeable doors?

I removed my mirrors from the doors and attached them to the spot right iun front of the doors. They fit perfect. Put some screws back in the holes in the doors. The base of my mirrors are trinangluar in shape.
Unfortunatley, I don't think all Samurai mirrors are the same.

Re: Mirrors/removeable doors?

On the drivers side of my 87 I just took the mirror off the door and re-drilled 2 of the holes to fit the upper -
hinge on the door. Works great looks good too. I didn't do it on the passenger side as I have a snorkle
in the way.

Those CJ mirrors that bolt on to the windshield frame fit nicely.

Check out Quadratec, though I am sure there are many others offering removable Jeep mirrors.
