New England SNO-AB Event

Well, here I go again. I'm starting to see a pattern. laugh]

Who wants to step forward and help me organize it? Samething as before, dates, places, etc.

This one will be tricky. Weather plays the biggest part. Late Jan. - Early Feb. seem right?

Places may be another thing. Camping is way outta the pic., so it would need to be where lodging is available. I have an idea of a place near Hunter Mt. Ski Bowl, but getting rooms might be hard and prices steep and we ARE Suzuki owners after all.

Any suggestions/comments?

Re: New England SNO-AB Event

Tim,
I only 20 miles or so from Hunter. I know of some trails
not far from Hunter located outside of Durham. And then there is a few
more, a little further out towards Cobelskill in the town of Middleburgh.
There mild in the summer months but they could be tough with some
snow.

I'll talk to you more in depth about it at Zookin in 2k.

Wayne

Well the thing to remember is to not bother our snowmobiling cousins, IE: we shouldn't ride on thier trails.
Nothing worse than zipping along in your sled and hitting Ruts from wheelers in the snow. Not the kind of PR
we want. Other than that Tim tag you're it!

Re: New England SNO-AB Event

Great minds think alike. Hunter is great, and I know a few trails in Tannersville. Need to find out about the Middletown place, as that's real easy for everyone to get to, and motels shouldn't be crazy. And your right, a mild trail could be a blast in 2' of snow.

I go up to Tannersville in the fall for colors and hunt. Wanna hook up and scout out a place for it, say early October. What you doing for the Columbus weekend?

Glenn, I respect the snowmobile thing. We'll be sure to keep away. I don't think SNO-AB will be as "event like" as Zookin, but fun anyway!

Hey guys!

NY state would be great. If you can come up closer to the border it would even be better!!! I LOVE winter wheelin'......
