Re: Got the ZOOKI itch

I get around 22 mpg in town with my 88.5, maybe a little higher on the highway. This Zuk has a carb. I have a bone stock '92 that gets about 30 in town. It has a TBI, some call it fuel injection (whatever). The '92 has alot less miles on it than the 88.5. That may make a little difference.

Re: Got the ZOOKI itch

I got about 25mpg w/ my 31's + a GRS I, but I really wouldn't recommend a Samurai for a "commuter" vehicle.....

The FJ55 you found sounds neat, but it really is a whole different type of vehicle from a Samurai. You will Really limit your capabilities with it on the trail, and parts are very expensive (as you already know from your L.C.). The choice is yours, but if you are working on a budget, you will get a LOT more bang for your buck w/ the Samurai.
