Starting Issue\'s

I have the starter pulled out of the engine and sitting on the air cleaner. I have it hooked up with the neg wire and the pos to the solinoid with the ignition wire hooked up. When i turn the key it does the same thing it did before, nothing. By the carb, there is a blue type sensor with a gren plug and when the key is turned to start it this thing clicks away. Any Ideas? I do not see the clutch start switch at all, Can I bypass all this and put a push button starter in? Will it work. Thanks.

Re: Starting Issue\'s

Look at the top of the clutch pedal inside the cab, Up top. you will see the switch. make sure you don't jump the
brake light switch by mistake.. Make sure you have a ground to the starter too. with the key turned on start see
if you have 12V to the small wire, If you do and also have 12v on the large Positive then the starter is bad.
You could just run a positive wire from the battery to the small connection on the starter and it should work.
Hope this helps.
