Sidekick gear box on Samy?

Hi there
I'm changing my third cluth this year. The disc is breaking.
I thing my flanger to mate the 1600 8v to the stock samy gearbox was not properly aligned.
I'm thinking in swaping in the Sedekick gearbox to solve the problem (I will also have a biger cluth)
How dificult is it?
What is involved?
Remember that I'm in Costa Rica, not easy place to find done parts for this adaptions.

Thanks.

Re: Sidekick gear box on Samy?

You will need to move your transmission mount, as well as cut a new hole in the tunnel for the shifter. There used to be a write-up on Off-Road.com's site (Suzuki section) on a 2WD Sidekick tranny install somewhere in the technical section.
