Dim light or Dim wit

I was checking out my head lights and noticed one was dim. When I switched the brights on, the dim light seemed dimmer. I cleaned the light connections and cleaned up the ground wire behind the head light with no luck. Am I missing something? Or do I need a new head light? Aloha!

Re: Dim light or Dim wit

I don't know how much a new headlight is there, but they're cheap here in Aus (A$12.75 per light) so go ahead and buy another if they're cheap. Even if it's not the problem, at least you have a new spare! And it sure beats the hell out of spending a lot of time checking your wiring and scratching your head if all you needed was a new headlight!

Check the fuse, each headlight has it's own fuse.
I just fixed the same problem on my 86 Zuki, the fuse
connector had pulled out of the holder in the fuse box.
