I mean a quart a WEEK!
 
Of oil that is.Have small main seal leak but my compressions good.Looks like some of it is going through the exhaust.Is it my rings?Whats up with this?I can get my hands on an engine for 300$ if I cant save this one.help!!

are you blowing blue smoke/white smoke?can be rings,valve guides,could be blow by.with eng. running,carefully remove oil fill cap,check for blow by.make sure pcv valve is working,thats the vent for eng.stopped up-you blow oil out. hope this helps. ranger rick

check your fuel pump. i see on your profile you have a 87
the vent tube not hooked to anything is where they leak
when starting to go bad. you can wire ty a baggie to the
tube and drive around awhile and tell. happened to me on a
88 replaced all front seals and timing belt still had a leak
was about to pull engine had less than 10,000 on rebuild was
fuelpump leak only.
