FATAL ROLLOVER PICS!!!

You guys should check out the post in the short wheel based j**p forum, under fatal rollover. Itll make you think. So sad and what a situation. Maybe someone could make it "clicky" from here? Lots of horrific pictures that deserve a moment to ponder. Poor guy was doing what he loved, and what a wonderfull area to die. Its under fatal rollover check it out.

Re: FATAL ROLLOVER PICS!!!

This should remind us all how safety need to come first. Four wheelin' should be fun, not fatal.

Re: FATAL ROLLOVER PICS!!!

Very spooky. I forwarded the link to my 'lil lady. She is now having second thoughts of going with me on the NE Fest.

I did my damdest of convincing her that I wheel as safe as possible, and I do. However, no matter how careful we are, we still participate in a dangerous sport.

Sometimes accidents happen, we all need to learn from them.

Re: FATAL ROLLOVER PICS!!!

Well Its all risk management. I have been compeating in motorcycle racing since I was 18 up until about 8
years ago when I injured my back mountin biking of all things. I can't ride M/C's anymore becuase of the back pain
and I don't want a helo ride that way (Lifestar). That said to get out in the woods again with my son doing what I love, Running the same lines I would with my trails motorcycle is fantastic. But when you look at an rock face
spend a moment really studing the lines.Know when to hook up the which cable, or tow strap and get a tug.
one of the biggest things that can bite us out there is ONE MORE TRY. I really feel for the friends and family of this guy that passed away,But he had lost his judgment. Thats what will get us in this sport/hobby more than anything.
As long as we manage the risks within our limits we will be fine. Tim,sounds like a good time to put the cage to the
top of the list. RangerRick HOOO ahh. I thought I smelled a green beanie in here! (I'm ex MI At ft Devens MA.
10th SF was up there for a long time.)

Re: FATAL ROLLOVER PICS!!!

Glenn, you are right. That cage is moving very quickly to the top of the list for winter build-up. Maybe we ALL should be thinking the same. Compared to a Heep, our roll protection is that of a matchbox.
