i've seen pic's of that one before. it is sweet and i'd like to know more about it. like what axles he is running. and close ups of the susp. i like the way he uses the tubes around the body.

Re: coils front&rear

Well as you can see i have coils on my sami its geared 180 :1 with two t-cases and dana 44 front and rear...As we speek we are building front and rear WELD in coil kit that would clear 33 and RTI about mid 900 on a 30% ramp but drive nicer on the road than a spring over......

Re: coils front&rear

how about some more pic's. are your axles custom built or are they from another vehicle? my personal op on the coil spring susp. you refer to would be cool but is there anyway you could make one cheeper? $1500 is alot for a susp. and most people seem pretty content with their spring overs so i think you would have to lower the price to sell many of them. anyone agree or disagree with me?

Re: coils front&rear

Well my scanner is down i will try to get you some pics asap ..as far as the coils it may sale for less than $1500 the warn kit for jeeps is close to $2400.... Almost evry sami owner changes leaf springs in the rear once a year for extreme use they bend or even brake if your working them hard....

Re: coils front&rear

I would pay $1500 IF the kit was well designed and built. I'd also have to see this suspension sucessfully in service for at least a year
on several other rigs.As you may know there is a coil rear suspension on the market that is having problems due to poor engineering.
I wish you luck on your project.

Re: coils front&rear

How wide are the J**P axles? Did ya cut them down? What gears are ya running? I'm looking at doing the same axle swap with some Dana 44's. Any info will be great! E-mail me if you want.
Thanks
