what an engine!

we pulle dhte cyl head of of my buddys 92 sami yesterday ( it had a non sealing exh valve)

112K miles, less than .004 ring groove ( can hardly feel it at all with finger nail), and you can still see the crosshatch pattern all the way around the cylinders!

incredible, is this the normal internal condition of one of these little engines?

Ivw taken several engines of many makes down, and never seen one with so little cylinder wear.

hey ozark,well i can tell you ...yes that is how the 1.3 and the 1.6 looked like when i tore them apart.my uncle(chevy man ) was trippen too.kinda neat huh .
