4:1 t-case...

I know ppl make a 4:1 case from 84 SJ410 t-cases, i have a 83 (well, thats what the seller said, could be any year..) and, can i use this to make a 4:1 case? IF not, is there anyway i can modify the gear to make it? Whats the difference between 84 and 83?? Thanks
Anton

Re: 4:1 t-case...

I belive you are thinking of 4:16 tcase right? what most vendors do is use a part of the countershaft gear and two
other gears from a sj410 and mate them up to the sj 413 tcase to give you 12% lower high and 84% lower
lowrange. there are a few sites out there on how to do this. It is really out of the realm of home shops unless
you have a lathe and are a machinist.

Anton

When you read a post and there to many to list on one page it makes another page. So look at the bottom of ALL the posting and you'll see "(1)(2) Show all"

Hope you get my drift........
