draglink protection

I JUST GOT A 'NEW' STEERING DRAGLINK FROM THE JUMKYARD BECAUSE MY LAST ONE WAS REALLY BENT. WHAT I WAS WONDERING IS IF THIS RANCHO STEERING STABILIZER I HAVE WOULD MAKE THE DRAGLINK LAST LONGER? I'M RUNNING 31'S SPOA. IF THAT DOED'NT HELP
I GUESS I'M GOING TO TRY TO BEEF IT UP WITH A WELDER.

Re: draglink protection

you might find some hvy wall pipe to sleeve your drag link.any time you weld, you change the strength of the steel.sometimes it gets brittle.drill and tap the hvy wall pipe and use set screws to keep the pipe in place.hope this helps.ranger rick

THANK GOD FOR VETERANS AND SUZUKIS-BOTH KEEP YOU FREE.

Re: draglink protection

It is a RANCHO STEERING STABILIZER not a bash guard.
