slightly off-topic

sorry for being out of line...

my girlfriend just bought a Chevrolet Trooper (=Isuzu) down here in chile with a 3.2lt V6 engine.

Does this 4wd exist in the states and in what other trucks can this engine be found (rated 205 hp) - or is it a re-stickered isuzu engine?

as far as i know chevy does not make a trooper... they also dont put a 3.2 V6 in their trucks... they still put the 4.3 V6

It's an Izuzu Trooper in the US. V6 Troopers in the states used Chevy 2.8 or 3.2 liter until the early or mid ninties, then they got a real Izuzu motor. I think it was 3.4 liters with overhead cams and made quite good power. The chevy motors are a bit weak, at least my mom's is.
