well i just got back from colorado and utah.i have to say it was the best vaction i ever had.i have to admit i was pretty ashamed of the dumb asses on the side of the hurt when i found out they were from texas.i saw them stuck,my friend went to turn in 3 atvs for tearing up a valley when the sheriff told us about them.we drove past them the next day.but now the good news,we spent 9 days in the silverton area, had a blast found a guy that had been going to silverton area for 40 years picked his brain good.found some great trails and hade a blast i had the wife and three kids plus a dog in the zook.then wen't to moab for three days.met jeff stevens damn good guy,he sent me out on poision spider mesa.i ended up running in to 3 jeeps on the trail they said i could follow them to golden spike trail[come to find out that the one guy hired a guide, turns out the guide is the man that started golden spike his name is dan mick another good guy, they took us all the way out] i can't tell you how great that was because i would have never gone that far with out some one else.i just have to say that they have some bad ass trails in moab, just make sure you bring plenty of water.the zook did 11 days of hard wheeling and it did great,i will post some pic when i get them back, and thanks jeff. mike

Re: Vacation

Moab is spectacular, my wife and I were there in May of 99 for vacation, drove in from my brothers place in Durango, rented a TJ and wheeled from 2 days,
met some jeep guys from Denver, we all wheeled the Poison spider mesa and the Moab rim trail. We were the only 3 vehicles on the trails. Totally awesome time, can not wait to go back.
