lift =tire ??

I have a 4.5 spoa, 3 inch body lift and extended shackels, for a total if 8.5 inchs in lift running 33's I'm told that I could run 35's on the road with this set up but I would have to go back to 33's for trails. I'm looking to run bigger I'm installing the 4.3L but turbo charged the one that goes in the typhoon and syclone so I should have no problem running bigger tires I would love to get 39.5's under her how much lift is reqiured and how can I set her up to go bigger I would settle for 35's but would rather have 39.5's I have seen other zooks with the 39.5's but they never seem to return my emails I send them.

Re: lift =tire ??

you need to consider your axles also, 39.5" tires with a turbo charged V6 will quickly distroy them

Re: lift =tire ??

IMHO.... its all in the gears... don't focus too much on the motor... in my opinion the samis biggest advantage is its weight... so hanging a 4.3l into it takes away its biggest advantage

just my 0.02

I agree with alfred, I think the light weight of the sammy is one of the reasons it wheels so well. So I would just focus on the gears. Just my .02

I agree. The wieght of the Sami makes it perfect for wheeling. If you are putting bigger tires on, especialy that big, you need to get lower gears, and I would also look into gettin stroger axles. Like Dana 44's.
