Best Axle Conv. ? T-Case Swap?

See my earlier post for the new Sammy in my Garage. With V6 power I will probably need some stronger
axles. What are some of the more common (and easy) axle swaps? Is the Samurai T-Case strong enough
for the V6? If not, What would be a good swap? Thanks

Re: Best Axle Conv. ? T-Case Swap?

I'm doing a 4.3L swap and Dana 44 swap. I know that the V-6 is too strong for the stock axles and with 36's on it doesn't help out at all. That is why I'm doing a Dana swap. It looks like I'll have the axles in by July and I can e-mail ya about any problems I ran into with the swap. Also, I'll post it on my web-page.
I know lots of guys that have done a Ford 9" rear swap and used some other kind of axle for the front. Don't know much about that kind of swap so I can't give ya much info, I'm sure that others on this bord have done it and can tell ya what they did.
If you want Dana 44's start looking at Jeep Waggnners. The axles, as you may already know, have to be off set pass. side diff.
Hope that this helps, if you have anymore questions just e-mail me and I'll see if I can help ya out
