1.3 Sammy engine swap to a Geo 1.6 FI Tracker motor

What do I need to know about this?? We're probably going to use a carb system--what about the FI controlled distributor?? Will the Sammy dist work?? What else??

We are also going to put the auto transmission and transfer case in--what will we encounter there??

Thanks in advance for any help you can be. Jack, 512-619-5540.

Personally I would recomend going with the FI since it is easy to install and makes a world of difference. The trans will require the tunnel to be "massaged" and the transfer case is centered, where the Sami is offset, so the d-shaft will be at too radical an angle. the motor mounts dont line up either. It is well worth it it get a kit from a reputable company (Trail Tough, Rocky Road, Petroworks, etc.) and use the Sami transmission and t-case.
