New Head 4 Sami

Hey there y'all... been awhile since I been on the BB. Check it now & then but haven't posted anything in a long time.

Here's the latest... got a head rebuilt for the 16 valve and a 'custom' grind on the camshaft... WOHOO. Talked to the guys here at Crower and they knew all about the 1600 16 valve & did a custom grind that they say will give ~20% increase in low-midrange hp. That with the port & polish with a new valve grind onna nother head I had laying around should have the rig runnin sweet!

Just thinkin' anybody ever stroked a 16 valve? I thought that would be a great way to increase the hp output even further...wouldn't it be cool to have 150-175 hp outta the 1600?

Thumbs up Sami head 8V

Never heard of a stroker kit or supercharger for the sami, but it would be awesome.....the added torque and horsepower would be great!!!.....not to mention much needed!!!. What P/N is the cam??. Thought about adding some performance mods to a sidekick, but unsure of what to do, besides the air filter, synthetic oil, performance chip, and header, there is nothing much for the tracker performancewise and swapping in a 4.3 is out of my budget. Did you have all the work performed by Crower?. Thanks for your help!!.

Essentially, a 1.6 is a stroked 1.3. Same pistons diameter, longer stroke.

Talking Suzuki Stroker

Thanks 4 the info Yankee Tim. So in essence you could add the tracker crank to the samurai block for added torque correct?....is there a stroker kit or supercharger available for the samurai or the tracker?....because I have never heard, read or seen of any available. I would like to add more ponies to a tracker, what would you suggest?. What type of suspension system is best for this vehicle? What tire size would be the best suited for this vehicle? Thanks in advance for any help or info.
