You can have a local engine builder build the same for much less, and save shipping and core on top.

Asian Auto Parts...

I have an Asian 1.6 8-valve in my Samurai with about 45000 miles on it. It has been running great for nigh onto 8 years as a daily driver and in offroad situations.

There has, in the DISTANT past, been questons about the slowness of delivery, but the quality has been great. I understand that things are even better in the product delivery department these days!

Since you live in Henderson, NV and Asian is in, I believe, Goodyear, AZ you might consider him to be "local". I, on the other hand, am in Independence, MO which might be a little too far away - but I am happy with the product!

Naturally, you'll want to shop around and make sure you are getting the best bang for the buck, but I don't think that you can go wrong with Asian Automotive. Another person to ask is Myron at ZUKS Offroad (ZOR Zuks Off Road). He is more familiar with Dave King and Asian Automotive.
