Don't waste your time with the RR kit, it is not nearly complete and they offer no customer service. Acme Adapters ACME ADAPTERS Suzuki Samurai Turbo Diesel however specializes in the VW diesel to Samurai conversion and they offer everything that you will ever need for the install including terrific customer service. They even have their own Samurai Diesel yahoo group.
I am not a mechanic by any means but I used their kit and had the swap done in one weekend by myself.

lol. Extreme 4x4 had a samurai on this last sunday that they put a RRO diesel kit in. I laughed when they said "Rocky Road Outfitters". Wonder how long they waited for their kit?

Thumbs up

Jeff is THE MAN when it comes to diesels!! I've helped do a few and I'll be doing one in my Zook this fall.

I heard I was getting a sweater for Christmas. Too bad, I was hoping for a moaner or a screamer.

Funny you should ask that...

Ian from Extreme 4x4 was at the Spring Zuwharrie. When asked this question, he replied that the kit arrived in a week. He also said that Extreme 4x4 announced their intentions for the kit upfront in their conversations so that may have had an effect on delivery...
