Need adimensional spec from a STOCK Samurai alternator

If someone has a spare stock Samurai alternator, and a set of calipers, could you take a spec of the dimension of the two lower mounting "ears" outside to outside,, where it would mount into the bracket.

The GV and XL7 have a similar mounting set up, and by eye, appear to be the same size. I just want to compare tohe same to to see if they GV alt will fit the Sammy bracket. My Sammy has a Kick alt now, and I have no alt to compare it to.

GV and XL alts are 85+ amps, and appear to have the same connector plug.

Possibilites?

DOH! Actually, I need the measurement of the INSIDE of the stock Sammy lower bracket. The GV alt would need to fit inside the bracket. Anyone got one of those handy?
