Tubed out the front clip on the buggy this weekend. R6 turn signals!

Couple of friends and I got the front of my zuk tubed out this past weekend... 1-1/4" .188 wall DOM seamless tube. Crash and Loco helped me out. We pulled an allnighter and then some....

Heres a pic of when I lowered and narrowed the hood/ clip the 1st time..

And what I did to it over a few years..

I know this one will last and save my engine. Theres a hoop under the hood over the engine/ radiator.

Now that is truely FUNctional, Jim. No more smashed tin!

Hey, if Bob and I were to send you out some cash to pick up tube, and we came out with plenty of beer (you like Sparks?), could we use your talents and help us bend up our clips?

It wasn't just my talents. I would have to thank Loco and Craig or else it would have never been done. We rocked nonstop on this thing starting fri night, quick nap, some garage service repairs LOL, all night sat till 5 am. Had to run 30 minutes away and wake another friend Zuki Dan and steal his argon tank (mine ran out at 1am) Finished up what ya see in the picks sunday mornin. Theres alot more there than what the pics show. Dash /firewall tied to cage, winch repairs. Winching the firewall forward off the tube bender was fun. It was attatched to the firewall with visegrips!

We should start talkin bout a fabfest...

You mean a Central NYFabFest? I'm all for it! When would be good, March?

LOL, I was just talking some bending, not welding and major body restoration.
