O i got this one....easy to do.

While sitting in the drivers seat, reach down and grab hold of the little black end of the lighter.

Pull with a straight out motion.

Done.

Now plug in your iPod, cell phone, GPS, or whatever. Enjoy!

So ya gotta be complicated....

Well then you'll have to take out the radio. The piece of plastic around the radio and lighter comes out without having to remove the whole dash. Unplug the two wires in the back and I believe it's a twist and pull kinda thing. I can't really remember cuz I took all that out of mine many years ago. You should be able to tell when you get it apart.

Cool

It's REALLY easy to remove as stated. The under-dash radio and lighter are in the same unit. I think it's held in place by 4 (?) screws but I'm not sure. Two wires attach to the rear of the cig lighter, one from the battery and the other is the ground. There, you're done!

Though I don't smoke, mine is still installed since it powers other devices.
Good luck!
