Acme 2 piece hardtop fading

Anyone else have an Acme 2 piece hardtop? I think they are out of business now because I can't find any contact info on the internet.

It's black fiberglass and is fading pretty bad. Does anyone with glass experience know of a remedy besides repainting? I've tried a few things like Wesleys black magic etc.

I guess if I had to, a repaint would be a fairly inexpensive project since they're flat surfaces without much to mask.

Thanks

There are some products out there that will bring back some of the top's original characteristics but I'm not sure any of them are single application. Meaning... you'll have to keep applying the stuff to make it look better.

It'd be interesting to see what you come up with for a solution.

I have heard that WD-40 works wonders on restoring the look of it. I havent tested it myself but if your gonna repaint it anyway, you might try it first and save some money.
