Re: Zookiguy cage pics

I got a question if youre still on here, if not ill give you a call monday.

On the back, should i have a tube that goes from the stock hoop to the back of the zuk. Kind a like the factory arm but bigger and better, and how hard would it be to take a bar from the corner of the top of the stock hoop, and tie it to the vertical bar on the harness part. I love the cage im jus wonderin if the stock hoop needs bracing for a good hard hit right there.

This happens OFTEN with me.

Re: Zukinut cage pics

Wow, Rockrat, that is nice. I like your concept and your quality (I usually lack at least one of those).

I plan on doing a very similiar flexible connection of frame and cage but have not found the ideal location to mount the bushings yet.

Could you post some more images of these mounts?
Do you intend to add something to the rear of the cage like going to the framerails in the rear (+ flexy mount?)?

Thanks + best regards,

Norbert

Re: Zukinut cage pics

What you see is the front mounts they go just behind the bodymount frame horn. Not picd is the tabs welded to the plate to pic up the bushing. As far as the rear I didnt finish those yet I left the shop late. Most likley tomorrow be done and i will post them then.

Ya see Scott, this is why I want to trailer my rig 16 hours to your shop. That is, once again, a beautiful and functional cage.

Scott,

Is it possible to make the premier seat work. I really like how the sides fit you.
