getting ready to drive across country again making

hey guys I've been uderway again for my last patrol aboard my ship. I only have only a training mission left for me and i drive home in about May. Saying that I have about a month inport now to get my Zuk ready..here goes the rundown
-change all wheel bearings
- go throught trany trans lube
-change oil
-lube chassis
-install electic fan ( want some more hampster power)
-add new shims to rear axle ( want to decress pinion angle)
-add my d-plate tank skid (uncle same won't ship parts)
-tune up
-replace ditsy o-ring and valve cover gasket
-mount my 33" spare( yeah thats funny been driving 2 years with a 205/70/15 hanging off the back )
-tune in my CB
ok what am I missing and as I said i'm gonna leave AK by ferry and do the northen route (WA to NH )so any one that wants to meet up I have the off-road.com help list so let me know!

you will probably be quite a bit further north then I am but if your in the upper part of PA give me a shout. i got plenty of parts if needed and a truck big enough to tow a zuk just no flat bed trailer.

New timing and v-belts (save old ones for extras)

I would slap a new fuel filter on...(maybe clean in-line filter)

Of course change all fluids....

Check/lube u-joints....

That's about all that comes to mind right now...

I am in south central Indiana. I-465 Indianapolis is north of me 1 hour and I-65 Columbus is twenty minutes to my east

Supazuk, is there any way you could plot a map to show us all the path you intend to take? That way if anything should happen within a couple hours drive from any of us we could be better prepared to help you.

For example Winnipeg is only an hour North of the US border right above North Dakota/Minnesota. If you traverse the Northern part of these States and run into trouble one or more of us here could come down and help you. Same goes for other members along your path.

Northern Illinois 10 miles off the super slab, Interstate 80 . Have access to about anything you'd need . I'd spend some quality time with the u-joints and maybe carry some spares and the necessary tools to change one if needed . Fuel line antifreeze, spare fuel filters and such are about all you should need , other than an iron butt...
