What are these wires??

Ok here I am again....I was sticking a stereo in the Samurai yesterday (too cold to do anything else) and noticed two wires that just end right above the factory 6.5" speaker holes. There was one wire on each side tucked just slightly up under the dash. They are small gauge red wire with blue dashes on them, they end with a female plug type connector with clear boot. They are colored just like the dash light wires that come off of the dimmer switch....

Are these for some kind of factory option I do not have or???

Re: What are these wires??

Weird.
red-blue is the left rear side marker + left tail light

the dimmer switch should be red-green and red-yellow and black

Re: What are these wires??

I'm almost positive they are there from the factory the way they are wrapped in with other factory wiring....

Maybe later I'll stick a voltmeter on em and see what they do when I mess with stuff....

I would say that those are for the door switch for the light to come on. But then again if their there then why aren't they hook up?
