Re: Longfield zuki axles

Not yet, but word is that they are withstanding the power of running 1.6 16 valve motors and 2.0 liter motors and 35" tires without breakage! Sounds like a good product so far, but only time will tell!

We should get 5 or more people together to get a group discount.....anyone? ....I am sure I can make it happen if anyone is interested.

Re: Longfield zuki axles

What kind of dollars are we looking at?
Are the longfields only for the front?

Re: Longfield zuki axles

I am working on it.....but there is not much room to discount these axles since production costs are pretty high, but best I can do so far is $549.99 ($30 savings per set).....I will keep you guys updated and the more people that purchase them the lower the price!

Fellas:

If you are runnin longfields in the front, what would you run for rear axles? Whould the calmini axle shafts hold up to a 33/35 tire with gears and lockers???????

Re: Longfield zuki axles

The Calmini HD axle shafts are definately a good investment if you are running 35" tires. I run them with the 35" Boggers and a 2.0 liter and so far no breakage. I pulled the axles nd checkeds the splines after 3 months of abuse and nthere was no noticeable wear on the splines. I am very happy with them considering I broke three stock rear axle shafts on 33's (heavy right foot!) rockcrawling before I upgraded.

DEFINATELY WORTH THE $139.99 each!

Re: Longfield zuki axles

I would eventually love to move up to 33's myself..but wanna run the stock trac/kick gears I have now. Sound like this might be a good alternitive.
