Re: 6:1 pops out of low range

I would bet that either your t-case arms are bent or your arm bolts are loose. Even a little bend in the arms (especially the short side arm) will cause that problem. 6:1's, especially with 3:73 R&P's will twist arms like crazy.

Re: 6:1 pops out of low range

does he have a body lift on it

also if the as stated if the small arm is bent it lets the t-case twist so the arm hits the front part of the floor

Re: 6:1 pops out of low range

No body lift on it, thr truck was stock till we did the YJ,s and the gears...
so if the arm is bent???? does that mean the shifter is hitting the body and that is what knocking it out of gear?
I will check it out.
Thanks

Re: 6:1 pops out of low range

I guess so. Every time I have had a Sami case pop out it was loose short arm t-case bolts or bent/twisted arms. And BTW, if you put a 6:1 case in (especially with 3:73 r&p's) and didn't reinforce the arms substantially, I would bet BIG money they are bent. My short arm weighs about 10 lbs now
