O/T any VW nuts in the house?

Picked this up today, runs and drives perfect, as of now its either dual port 1915 and baja the $hit out of it (paint it and remove some gay factors of course), or dual port 1915 maybe some boost and spank ricers. This is 1 of 650 that were made. Pretty neat.

I'm still looking for a good cheap little samurai to, I've been itchin for the zuk kickin once again

Hmmmm, you know that thing looks like it might fit nicely on my LWB Zuk frame. Wonder how it would look with 37" MT/Rs under it.

Re: O/T any VW nuts in the house?

Hello....my name is zuk88 and I am a VW addict. I've been clean and VW free for 5 years now, but I still get the itch now and again. I wrenched the air cooled beasties for 15 years. I do have to agree....its one fugly VW. If I get back into 'em it's got to be pre '67 bug or bus or maybe a type 3 done up baja style

Here's an old pic of my '67 Baja

Re: O/T any VW nuts in the house?

My neighbor has a real nice 79 Super Bettle convertible I have driven a few times. When I was a kid I learned how to drive standard on a bug. I had an older friend who was really into them. He had one that had the crank open sunroof and his brother had a rare 60's bug that had a split rear window. Jim

My first cars were old air cooled beetles... a 75, 71, and 73 with auto-stick. Good times...

I like the mustang taillights on that thing.
