JC Whitney Traction bar opinion wanted

I need something to cut down spring wrap on my Samurai without taking the daily driver qualities out of it. Economical pricing and simplicity are a plus, too.

To that end, I came across this in the JC Whitney catalog:

JC Whitney's Traction bar item

There is a version for the Samurai and it costs roughly 80 bucks for a set.

Remember, I not in the league of sarge, tackett or grumpy -- it's more like the Murph-mobile.

probably most of what that bar will do is limit flex.

I assume you cant weld? or dont have a welder. they are realy easy to make. I just rebuilt mine. it now works alot like the breeze unit.
