replaced head gasket, still blowing white smoke.

Well, replaced the head gasket and got a nice used head for my Jimny, but the dang thing is still blowing white smoke. The coolant has oil in it again too. otherwise she is running just fine. It is only white when the engine is warmed up, not when cool, if that matters. I need advice here, any ideas? It is a 660 turbo (3 cylinder) I'm in Japan so y'all are my only hope as this country isnt a do-it-your-selfer kind of place. Thanks!!

Re: replaced head gasket, still blowing white smoke.

Although I'm not familiar with your particular engine , here are some things you can do to verify/diagnose your problem .
First , either do a pressure check or dye check on the cooling system to find where the leak is coming from . Cracked intakes , heads , and blocks all show up differently .

Also, a compression check can verify if there is a single cylinder problem and possibly related to the injection of water .

Is there a possibility that the turbo is drawing water from the intake system??

Is the vent system for the crankcase working properly to keep moisture out and allowing ventilation?

From the pics I've seen of that engine , it did look as the head may be an issue to seal since the gasket area is so thin . Maybe something to look into . Hope this is of some help....
