lower rears in an 03 track?

Just wondering if I should change out the rear gears in my 03 tracker. I just put 30's on it and I can definately tell the differance when trying to maintain highway speeds. Yes mine is pretty much going toward the prerunner for now but I wanna do a 4wd conversion soon. (help and hints with year models for parts would be great) There is another 2wd kick in the yard here. It's a mid to late 80's with a 5 spd. Would it be worth the time. Thanks everyone...

They only rub at full lock. I'm gonna post the pics in a new thread. Thanks...

Does anyone have an idea? Also, would I have to change the whole rear end or can I just change the gears?
