Underdrive pulley ???

I run a 1.6 / 8 valve with a cam ... What realy will underdrive pulley do for me ?? pros and cons please Thanks Taz

It will reduce parasitic HP drains (forgot the correct term): water & alt. If you're running a GM alt, it will probably last a bit longer and I found that the motor spools up faster. Another benefit was the reduction of belt noise at highway speeds. I never thought that there was actually belt noise as an issue, but it did reduce the noise level especially at highway speeds......

On the down side your fan pulley will turn slower and may cause overheating; esp if you are running the stock 2 core rad.
