Re: sj410 t-case

No , I just put one in mine while I rebuild my Samurai one with lower gears and found that you will have to use the 410 flanges... Pretty easy...

Re: sj410 t-case

Can't you take the flanges off the 87/88 T-case and put them on the 410 case? I have a 410 case I have not yet installed but thought that was the trick. Jim

Re: sj410 t-case

I just got done putting an SJ410 case in my 86 Samurai. All I had to do was swap the flanges (all three) from my original t-case to the SJ410 case.

It was easy to do, but I had to use an air gun to get the old flange nuts loosened up (even after 'straightening out' the flange nut 'lock'/indentation).

Re: sj410 t-case

What year model is tcase?? I've owned 2 and the first one(83) had a smaller output spline and the Samurai flange wouldn't work. The one I run now (85) has Samurai flanges on it with no problems. Here's a good link-> http://moose.ca/~slowzuki/slowzuki/t...ases/index.htm

Re: sj410 t-case

I like to have a 410 tcase that would fit a samurai. I got flanges that can be changed. Anyone got a loose one that lying around?
