CAR FAX help

Ok, heres the deal. I need a car fax run on a truck.
I am set up for carfax on ebay but not outside.
If someone can run one for me it would be great.
If not, would anyone be interested if I got the unlimited for 30 - 60 days? I can run as many as I want for only $5 more. I would prefer to have someone run this one for me.
I am not sure how many I have left on ebay, I will figure it out and let everyone know. If this truck checks out I will be done looking.

Re: CAR FAX help

I was always kinda iffy on carfax. It depends on someone putting info in there and may not tell the WHOLE story of the car. This became apparent when a coworker bought a car ran carfax and it didn't show the engine was replaced. Jim

Re: CAR FAX help

I bought an 02 Blazer that was CARFAX clean and GM certified. Found out all front sheetmetal and 1 frame horn had been replaced. (actually my wife bought it while I was on a trip). It drives fine etc etc but it taught me a bitter lesson.

CARFAX SUX. Means absolutely nothing. Actually it means some bodyshop was dumb enough to submit to it.

Get in writing from seller that the vehicle has never been wrecked etc etc. NOT "to the best of their knowledge" either. If they guarantee it in writing you may have recourse if you find problems.
