Tracker/Sidekick grill interchanging

I've got a 96 Geo Tracker and I hit a deer not too long ago. Having alot of problems finding parts in my area for the front end of this thing. Looking on ebay, seems there are plenty of parts for 95 and older Sidekicks and Trackers, not to mention they are alot cheaper than the parts I've been able to find for 96-newer vehicles. Is it possible to put a grill and bumper from a 95 or older vehicle onto a 96 model Tracker? Has anyone done it, and can lend some pointers? Are the Sidekick and Tracker grills and front bumpers the same for 95 and older vehicles? I know that these two trucks are basically identical except in things like trim and stuff like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm from Kentucky, so if anyone knows of some good junkyards in Southern Ohio, Eastern KY, or Southern WV that has some Trackers or Sidekicks, let me know!

My '92 has a '96 grill on it. It was like that when I got it so I can't tell you how easy it was to change. Looks like maybe they just moved the bolts? Fits though.

Re: Tracker/Sidekick grill interchanging

Thanks alot for responding. From what you've said it sounds like everything is pretty much interchangeable between the different model years. I guess the only way to know for sure is to find some parts and try it!
