Re: GonZookin- higher level stock sammy

There's ALOT to be said for wheeling a STOCK Sammy! And there are lots of awesome trails for stock and slightly modified vehicles, but for those of us that want to continuously "push the envelope" there are economical upgrades!
Let me know if you need anything even if it is just advice.

Re: GonZookin- higher level stock sammy

well i should have clarified i do have 31" xterrains and 2 inch shackles on it...it will be getting a bolt on spring over 5" lift some time in the near future..but it was fun to beat the snot of the truck on the heavily modified trails..yes i was crazy enough to take the thing on trails up to a blue 3 at paragon....hmmm. maybe my head should be checked? still lookin for ideas for the seat replacement.. geo metro seats require too much modification. i know tracker seats will work with a tube bar modification (they are in the other sammy) but it would be nice to find seats that would go right in without modification..not expensive (actually would like to find them in junk yard) any suggestions? I put honda civic seats in mine. The only mod I made was to remove the stock metal bracing on the drivers side and then bolted theb right to the floor.

Re: GonZookin- higher level stock sammy

There are alot of seats that fit in without major modifications. There was a post about a month ago about it. Do a search and you will find alot of info on this topic.

Stupidly easy swap. Find 2 door seats if you run a back seat, otherwise 4 door seats work just as well.

Do a search, there's a tech article about it somewhere.
