spacer for Kick gears in Sammy???

Anybody know where I can get the spacers for the ring gear for putting the Track/Kick front ring and pinions in the Sammy diffs cheap????
I just looked at the set, with the can on a site that will remain nameless....it will be well over $100 for both ends. The cans I can make. But I got a motor to put back together before the Melt too....I can't afford that!!
anybody got the measurements for the thickness of the spacer? I can probably get something made.
Any shadetree secrets to take it's place??

That over 100.00 is still cheaper than all new gears. Know anyone needing 4.56 gears from a Tracker? I have a set still in the third members. Just put 5.13's back in.

150.00 plus shipping for both. Ready to drop in. The rear has a broken bolt in the third link mounting point but that can be removed.

Re: spacer for Kick gears in Sammy???

smitty,
i'm running tracker gears in my zuk and i didnt use a spacer on my ring gears....however that leaves about 1/3 of the ring side bearing hanging without support, but i know of three people running this way and havent had any problems. however none of us run on the street or with very much wheel speed, so not sure how it would react....just a thought.

Yeah, I guess your right....it sure is fun driving it like its a rental car in mexico, but if i cant afford the ring gear spacer, then i sure cant afford to fix it when it breaks...

Re: spacer for Kick gears in Sammy???

are you talkin about the spacers on the sides that hold it all together? i amnot sure i am talking about the same part. ( sorry its the girl in me) I blew the side spacers that hold the guts of my rear locker together, i called richmond got the part # for mine and ordered them thru SPidertrax. I am probably not being any help... but if i am on the right track let me know and i can hook u up with the part # and a price.
