1.6 16 v ???

Ok Mike shows up today to rip into my blow 16v to swap its head onto a new 1.6 block I aquired. problem isit looks to be an 8v lower end because the pistons are clearanced for 2 valves and my blow one is clearanced for 4 what needs to be done to make this work new pistons and rods or just pistons???

also Forgot to say the 16v I have is the odd ball year with the crank sensor the new block has the correct oil pan but does not have the hole in the block can I just drill one in OR????

You have to swap to the 16V pistons and swap oil pumps (since that is where the crank angle sensor is located)and don't forget to swap over all the crank angle sensor parts.

THats just great...more cash out the window.. I figured out the oil pump swap and the crank sensor what other parts are you talking about with the crank angle (or is it the same thing)
Also do I need to change the rods also??

Rods and stroke are the same, just swap the pistons and the carnk angle sensor parts which consists of the sensor itself and the sender on the crank. There should not need to be any other costs since these parts are on your old motor.....hope they are in good condition.

Thats how this hole thing started the old motor Only has 2 good pistons left #1 and #2 3 is questionable and #4 is cracked.

I have new pistons coming from Brent and a new set of rings So I should be set. Although I do need to pickup a bunch of those litle brake hoses from you if you still have them. I need to run small rubber extensions at My link pivot points. I will try and give you a call in the morning

I'm glad you got that figured out, I was waiting to see the picture of a green valve covered 1.3 you got a killer deal on.
