exhaust flange

I need to do something about the exhaust with the 16 valve temporarly for gonzookin. I have a 1992 16 valve, so a few things are different. One of them being the downpipe. It has two seperate pipes that run down into a collector. The flange is different also, it is triangle with a bolt on each corner. I was told maybe the old 8 valves had the same pattern. I need to find the flange to weld some pipe onto. I can most likely get my hands on a 8 valve flange. Or is there a parts muffler shop that would carry it. Any ideas? Re: exhaust flange

Not positive (not having worked on a 1.6) but that sounds like a std header flange,
they make several sizes of 3 hole flanges and most auto parts stores and certainly
all muffler shops should have them.

Re: exhaust flange

nope not a standard flange....i know what you mean... i ended up using the down pipe off of my sidekick and it fit pretty decent.

any track/kick wil have one...unfortunatly i dont have one to give ya man...all i got is an extra 8v manifold and that wont fit

Re: exhaust flange

If it was a later model I could bring one up to you at GonZookin, but I don't have any of the older flange parts. Just tow it up to the exhaust shop and have them chop of the old flange and weld on a standard collector flange.
