Calmini 2\'\' Body Lift

I hate to say it, but I din't think I am going to be able to get this in.

I took out "all" the body mounts because it felt as if [bleep] was bending when I lifted up half my truck. Now whats the correct way to put these on? The directions they sent me were halfassed and no detail.

Also there is a part welded to the body that sticks out that the bolt goes into, does that come off or am i just going to have to jack the body high enough to get the spacers on that.

Also, does anyone have any good images of the new bumper brackets im going to have to make to get it to look stock again? (Thats what i want is it to look stock, so no bull bars of anything)

Re: Calmini 2\'\' Body Lift

First, what you got? Samurai or Trackick? The only help I can offer is I put in new poly bushings in my Samurai and lifted one side at a time like the instructions said. It did feel like things were stretching but watched for tight stuff and had to undo a couple of the wire wraps to give some slack and remove the gas filler hose from the tank but it all went in OK. On a Samurai the rear bumper is bolted to the body and the front just to those mounts ahead of the front tires. Shouldn't be too hard of a fab job there. Maybe cut the tube and offset up 2 inches on a plate?

Re: Calmini 2\'\' Body Lift

I have a 94' geo tracker.

I think i need to loosen my brake lines, and about the gastank, how do i take care of that?

Also, the bolts that come out of the body, is there any way to take those off or are those not made to come out? It would be alot easier to put it in without those bolts..

Also, I once found a site where a person shower how to put the lift into a red tracker. She was female i believe, any of you guys know the site im talking about/
