another reason to hate CA

I just got done spending $77 to the dmv for a trailer I dont even get to use

if the rig is damaged beyond repair you have to fill out the dmv papers before the tag comes due if you dont they will penilize you for not doing it

I didnt know this when they sent me the renewal I thought no way am I going to pay for a tag for a rig I dont have so I didnt pay it the rig still in my dads name he recieves a late notice and freaks out about it I guess this happened onece to him before and they were going to attach his taxes to get their money

what a bunch of bs funny thing is I know of several rigs that the tags are out but they dont seem to be after them I wonder what would have happened realy If I didnt pay it

Yep, I read that one . The local park here that our group helped to get open is now under some serious fire as well . Seems the locals went the next level and started to complain to our elected Criminals . They say we will contaminate the local streams and rivers plus a whole slew of noise concerns . So, I guess the local fertilizer plant , quarry, and all those pleasurecraft on the river have no effect then.....?? I'm sick of this crap , the only ones who can have fun anymore are the people with lots of money and lawyers...

Re: another reason to hate CA

That's another reason TEXAS should cecede from the union and kick all the libs out, open the door only to any one that beleives in God, Guns , Guts, Glory, 4X4's and moral's. We need to throw out all of the "agencies" and get back to when this little union of ours was of the people, by the people and FOR THE PEOPLE. "THE PEOPLE" meaning... The majority. What was that little saying... "For the good of all mankind. They took that and twisted it all around to make it mean that if it isn't good (or fun) for everyone then we need to outlae it. We truly have become a socialist nation when nearly 50% of our GNP is spent by the government. There is no need to look back and try to figure out when, where, who etc... changed it. It is too late for that. You name it, if you like it there will eventually be a law against it to protect you from "yourself", because you and I are just to EGNORT to take care of ourselves, we must have someone watch over us. Man... did someone ask me to speak? I guess I will get down and let someone else blast off.

Re: another reason to hate CA

The people in control = politicians.
If people enjoy something - or need something, or just want something, it's taxable. Those taxes go right in the politicians pockets.

Did you know - that monies collected, contributed etc, for a campaign, but not spent - can be kept by the politician? No wonder there are so many no namers running around. It attracts the freeloaders!

Have you ever seen a broke politician?

Have you ever seen an honest one?

Would you trust one in you home when you weren't home to gaurd your possessions?

NO WAY!!!

Tea parties aren't limited to Boston - we need to start having them.

Re: another reason to hate CA

In the past 20 years the laywers have taken over------Soulition-----close all the law schools-----or at least charge the would-be laywers $500,000 per year tuition. Then "we the people" can get back down to business.

Re: another reason to hate CA

Would $500,000 tuiton fix the problem? Not all lawyers are bad....most I'd say are rotton. but that tuiton would leave it so only the rich can be lawyers and that would slingshot the rich into full domination (hmmm now that i think of it that alomst how it is right now) of any court proceding from now on.....and well I think we'd know how that would all turn out.

well just my view

Re: another reason to hate CA

Back in the day you didn't need a law degree to sit on the bench or run for office. As a matter of fact most small town circut judges were "civilians", and common sense prevailed. Since the "legal eagles" changed the system look at what has happened. (a) You have to blame someone, no matter how redicoulous the sitituation, (b) You have to win at any cost in order to advance your career and get into polotics.
Look at what is happinging all around us, espically in the higher profile cases, the lawyers are having a field day at the taxpayers expense, and common sense has gone out the window.
The best example is the guy here in Cal. who was hired and licenced by the state to grow medical marijuana. The Feds procuted him and were able to get the fact that he was state sanctioned kept out of the trial. They got there conviction, but when the juriours found out all the facts, after the trial, they were about ready to burn down the fedrel courthouse. To late, the conviction still stands. Now it appeals time, and guess who's paying for that.
Most recently is Kobys lawyers. They are trying to get into the record, and possibilly into law, that you can't rape a promusicous woman or a prostitute. MMMMMM---let's see where that one goes?
