Good price for a dial?

I need a dial to do lockers, spools, and gears. Would this be good for occasional usage?

.200" range, .001" graduations, 0-100 reading.

two radiusedd contacts (3/16" dia and 5/16" dia)

Re: Good price for a dial?

The range is a bit short but for ring gear backlash it will work fine. Not a bad price for a central dial indicator, either.

Re: Good price for a dial?

mug shot.....when you say gears are you just talking about your ring gear? Because you shouldnt have to bother the pinion gear at all, unless ofcourse you're changing your gears to something else.

Re: Good price for a dial?

Do a search on eBay for central dial. About 1/3 that cost.
