need advice on bumpstops

Hey all,

I'm trying to decide how to setup bumpstops. I flexed it on a ramp and did some measuring. I'm not sure if I went to far or not far enough on the flexing, but do you think these photos show the springs inverted too much or do they look ok?

The driver side front shock was completely compressed so I know I need to extend the shock mount by another inch. Any more than that and the relay rod will hit the pitman arm. Also, I think the spring would then be inverted to much, right? The pass. side shock showed 7" of tube (rancho 9012) so it could go much further but I doubt the spring will droop that much.

Any advice on setting the bumpstops appreciated. I have more photos and views if another angle would help.

Thanks,
Paul

I think you are fine on both ends. If it makes you feel any better, mine get more negative than that. I over did it on mine, but the springs have lasted fine for three years of hard use with no (signs of) ill effects.
