Troubleshooting temperature guage

I just got the 16V installed in the wife's Zuk and got everything running. The 16V that I put in I pulled from my failed project. The problem I'm having now is the temp guage pegs hot as soon as I turn the ignition on - even before the engine is running. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this or an idea where to begin to look?

It still has the Tracker Temp sensor on the engine but it worked fine when it was in the other Zuk...

I'm stumped.

Re: Troubleshooting temperature guage

Swap temp sensors since they are the same and if it still dosen't work then it's in the wiring.

Re: Troubleshooting temperature guage

It's in the wiring somewhere because theguage is still pegged at the top even when I disconnect the temp sensor.

Re: Troubleshooting temperature guage

Start checking the wiring itself , you have it grounded or pinched somewhere in the harness....
