zuks of hazzard

Hey guys, I have been lurking around here for a long time and thought it was time to chime in. All of you have been very helpful with the information regarding your repairs, trail fixes, and upgrades that I haven't needed to ask for help. Now that I have done some of these mods myself, I thought you would like to see what I have. It is an 87' with a 16 valve, spoa, 31's ltbs, and an ARB front bumper. Of course it has the Dixie airhorn too. Like the real General Lee, it has been raced, and chased with a couple of bumps and bruises to prove it. A friend of mine had come up with the idea of the Dukes, and I have been kicking it around for about a year. The zuk was already orange when I got it and I needed to do something to make it mine. I have seen a couple of you guys paint yours orange, and I kept thinking, please don't put the Dukes touch on it. I think that it will be alot of fun wheeling in the General Lee. Let me know what you think. I will keep checking out the board. You guys are great. Thanks, Jeff http://community.webshots.com/photo/...45670854LLNhKk

Sorry about the bum link. I have fixed it. Check out the other pictures in the album. Some of them are from Moab this year. Jeff http://community.webshots.com/photo/...45670854LLNhKk

Zuks of Hazzard,

That is too cool. One of the things that makes this board interesting is looking at other guys rigs. Some of these guys have done a fabulous job with there paint schemes. This applies to yours as well. That is one that I have not seen before. Bring it down here and you'll fit in great.

Thats a cool paint job....I'm partial to orange myself, but I'll stick with the "purevil" theme.

very nice rigs! The caption writer for your slideshow has a great sense of humor, too.

Thanks, if you don't do the Zukdigger, I will. I didn't think of that. If it gets done, it might top the Zuks of Hazzard. Jeff

Re: zuks of hazzard

The zuk was already painted when I got it, but I think it is Hugger Orange. It's not quite Dukes, but it works. I just added the vinyl graphics. A guy locally did them for me. Thanks for the compliments guys, I like to hear it. Jeff
