Re: kingpin races?

Take both top and bottom bearings out and than take a nice size chisel and or punch aand stick it through the top or bottom kingpin hole. Then proceed to hammer out the races with the use of a small lip created by the races that you can set the punch or chisel against to drive them out. The cleaner the knuckle is and your work evironment the easier it goes.

Just to clarify, do this driving a bit at a time in a circular or criss cross pattern so it doesn't get cocked and locked,

Re: kingpin races?

If you got a 3/4" drive socket set take the 1" or was it the 7/8" hum? crap I forgot which one but there was one from that set that fit the race perfectly. set the socket on the race from the inside of the knuckle then take an extention and come in from the outside of the knuckle a few taps from a hammer and they just pop out real easy like.
