Someone shot my Samurai!

I just got in from working on the Sami and I found a dent in the side that looks like a BB dent or a 22 fired from a distance. Man, I hate people.

Re: Someone shot my Samurai!

Welcome to the club Pauly! I have a small caliber (.22?) dent in my hood, probably fired at a long distance. I'm glad that they "lead" me too much......

Got one too. BB in the back driver's side door. It's starting to rust & I need to do something about it.

Re: Someone shot my Samurai!

I have one on the drivers side of my tintop (in the area equivalent to the targa on a conv.) just about were my head sits inside
I don't know guns very well but the bullet impact area was a lot larger than a BB or .22
The dent is round, about 12mm across and 6-8mm deep. The metal streched but the bullet didn't go through. I am actually unaware of when it happened. I must not have been in the sammi when it happened. I don't think I could have missed the sound of impact. I was cleaning the mud off one day and noticed it. Gives me the creeps...gotta drive with a kevlar helmet now.

I'm in the in the middle of painting my zuke. Instead of filling it in, I decided to leave it alone. When the rest of the painting is done, I'm gonna paint that dent up like one of those bullet hole decals...except this one will be real and in 3D!

Re: Someone shot my Samurai!

Didn't you just love the "Vigilanty"? Don't you hate punks that key your car, rip your cover, steal your tire cover, slash your tires, or go for a joy ride and trash the whole thing. Revenge would be sweet! I understand and feel your anger.

Re: Someone shot my Samurai!

Hey eozo, But we are in the "genteel" South, we don't have that brand of idiot down here do we? I mean our guys first try to steal it to get an easy thousand in Mexico, but when they find that you didn't leave the keys in it for the first time they just push it in the river... I really know a guy that got in trouble for doing just that. He pushed the thing a mile just to get it to the river. I think he was mad at the owner for some reason and originally expected to drive around a little while first. As we sometimes say "EEG-NORT"!

By the way, what is wrong with revenge? The Lord gets his and ours... I know a lot of people that just like to help him out a little !
