How many leafs are in your YJ packs?

I built 7 leaf packs like in this article to try and keep from running a ladder bar.

Damn this think is big now. Any guesses as to how much more lift I got by doing this vs. a stock YJ spring?

The shackles are 6.5" The tires are 32" BFG's

Re: How many leafs are in your YJ packs?

Interesting. I run 6-leaf packs all the way around. Wrap isn't too bad, but then again I am a finess driver. My rear springs settled about and inch and then stabilized. I have run them for two seasons and my rocker panels consistently measure 28-inches off the ground (which looks about the same as yours).

I was think about adding a bar, but didn't wan't to lose any articulation. How well does the system work? It seems to be you would only need to add a half of an upper leaf and use it in the rear of the pack to get the benefits of this system. I might just try that..........

I'm running the 4 pack, I'm going to a 5 pack. But that's only because I bent on of my 4 packs. I only have them on the front so...........
